At Lost Kind, we believe in the quality and longevity of our goods so we offer a repair guarantee as standard with all our products. If your item was purchased within a 12 month period, we will repair and return your item to you. Outside of the 12 month period, the customer is liable for return postage costs of the repaired item.
Let us about a return by sending us an email (email@example.com) with some information and images. Once we have reviewed your request we will send you a confirmation email letting you know what to do next.
Any defects must be structural, such as failure of material or craftsmanship while using the item as intended. If your belt snapped because you tried to tow a car with it, we will not fix it.
Any aesthetic defects such as discoloration, scratches, bite marks, shrinkage/stretching are not covered.
You are responsible for getting the item over to us. We strongly advise that you return your item via recorded mail as we are only responsible for the product once we physically have it. If your item was purchased within a 12 month period, we will repair and return your item to you. Outside of the 12 month period, the customer is liable for return postage costs of the repaired item.
In short, we will repair the item to function as intended but we will not make it look like new. We think our goods look better with age and use, it tells your own, unique story!
The time frame of this guarantee means we cannot promise that we have the original hardware, threads or any other material to repair your leather goods and will therefore choose alternative materials/products at our own discretion.
