1. WHEN WILL MY ITEM ARRIVE?
As all our products are made to order, please allow for a production time of up to 5 days for smaller items such as wallets, card cases, key holders and other leather accessories before shipping. Larger items such as leather bags, satchels and messenger bags can take up to 3 weeks to craft before we dispatch them to you. You will receive a confirmation email after your item has been shipped and depending on your location on the globe, delivery can take between 1 and 7 days. 2. WHERE DO YOU DELIVER TO?
We ship free of charge within the UK and set prices for the rest of the world, so no matter where you are in the world – we will get your goods to your doorstep.
3. WHAT SHIPPING METHODS DO YOU USE?
All our goods are sent out via Royal Mail Recorded Signed For to ensure your parcel arrives safely at the intended destination. A signature will be needed on arrival of the item to guarantee the goods haven’t fallen into the wrong hands.
4. WILL I BE CHARGED CUSTOMS FEES?
Lost Kind is not liable for any fees occurred whilst goods are in transit. Buyers are responsible for any customs fees or import taxes.
5. WHAT METHODS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
We currently accept American Express, Apple Pay, MasterCard, Visa and PayPal.

7. WHAT IS YOUR PRODUCT GUARANTEE?
We strive to make goods that can withstand the test of time and because we believe so firmly in our materials and techniques, we offer a guarantee with every purchase. This covers structural failures but not aesthetic defects that come with every day wear & tear. You can read more about this here.
8. HOW DO I LOOK AFTER MY LEATHER GOODS?
All our products require some maintenance but nothing too extravagant. We suggest wiping down your product with a soft, dry cloth every couple of days whilst in use to remove grime and maintain a blemish-free appearance. Bi-annually, it’s a good idea to give your product a deep clean using a balm, oil or polish intended for leather. This will moisturize and protect your goods and prevents cracking in its old age.
The nature of the leather we use means that as time passes, your product will age and deepen in colour after serving its daily duty. Your item will develop a patina that is completely unique to you – it should be admired and celebrated!
9. WHAT LEATHER DO YOU USE IN YOUR PRODUCTS?
We use 100% vegetable tanned Italian leather for all our products which is produced through environmentally friendly methods. All the hides we use in our workshop are by-products, discarded by the food industry. The tanneries we sought long and hard to find utilize purification systems and recycling programs to assure that they are as environmentally friendly as possible. We know and care where our leather comes from.
10. I NEED MY ORDER QUICKLY, WHAT CAN I DO?
We will always work with our customers to accommodate their needs. If you need an order for a birthday/anniversary gift etc. but you’re in a time crunch, we’ll try our hardest to prepare and ship your order in a more suitable time frame for you.
